I recently had to explain the difference between a graphic novel and a comic to my father! Despite the objections of some adults, my parents and librarians, graphic novels are a form of literature and can also be good. These books are great for reluctant readers who enjoy short books and pictures. Kids, do not listen to your parents if they tell you not to read them!
