This is a story about four sisters- Rosalind, Skye, Jane and Elizabeth and their dad, who go on holiday for the summer. They meet a wealthy but lonely boy named Jeffrey and soon befriend him. The Penderwick sisters help Jeffrey realise his true dreams, and he ends up meeting his father, who disappeared years ago. My favourite book in the series is the 4th one, The Penderwicks in Spring.
