This book is about a clever mouse who describes a scary monster, the Gruffalo, to save himself from different creatures in the woods. The book ends in an exciting twist where the Gruffalo appears and tries to eat the mouse, but the mouse is able to outwit him as well. This is a fun book to read, and I highly recommend it for kids between 0-5. The book is written in rhyme, and I must have liked it a lot because my mother can still recite it from memory! There is also another book about Gruffalo called The Gruffalo’s Child.
