Before Goldilocks met Alex and Conner Bailey, she made quite a name for herself. Goldilocks became famous for breaking into the house of the three bears. Before getting arrested, though, she ran away to a safe haven for criminals and outlaws called the Dwarf Forest. She lived there for many years. Years later, her beloved home is threatened by King Chance Charming, Cinderella's husband. Wanting to expand his territory, King Chance wages war against all the creatures taking sanctuary in the forest, wanting to execute them. Goldilocks must defend her home and the people in it.

This graphic novel follows Goldilocks' story from a young girl to become the most wanted person in the Land of Stories. This book is written from Goldilocks' point of view and got me questioning the boundaries between good and evil. This book gives the message that even those deemed evil can be good, and those considered good can be evil. I enjoyed reading about the characters that we all know, like Goldilocks and Pinnochio, even though their stories have been twisted a little.
