This is a great series, especially for reluctant readers.  In this series of graphic novels,  a cop who has a dog's head and a human body, fights crime. His arch nemesis is a cat named Petey who tries to take over the world many times.  He tries to clone himself and ends up with a child Lil Petey. Funnily, this book is called “Tale of Two Kitties”.  

I recommend this series for little kids who love humour. These books have little educational value but are super fun and easy to read. They are good as early reader books too, especially for kids overwhelmed by the idea of actual chapter books.  My little brother loves this series and there is also another series with the same characters called Cat Kid Comic Club.
