The Tale Of Peter Rabbit

Beatrix Potter

Now when I read this book I think that Peter Rabbit is a problematic character.  He tresspasses, destroys crops, and…he doesn’t listen to his mom! In this book, Peter runs away from home, and goes to Mr. Mcgregor’s farm, despite being warned not to by his mother. He realises his mistake after Mr Mcgregor sees him and tries to hunt him down. The whole story is about Peter Rabbit finding his way home while dodging the farmer. This is a fun book but it is a little long and babies may find it a little scary, since the story starts with Peter's mother telling him that Mr. Mcgregor ate his dad.  The reason I recommend this book is that the illustrations are very cute, and Peter Rabbit’s adventures are funny.  Also, Peter Rabbit is too iconic a character to not have read.
